ARRIVAL/WELCOME POST

It doesn't matter where you are or what you're doing, you suddenly hear water flowing over stone, the wind through the leaves, and the gentle rattling of Kodama. The hushed sound of treetops waving in the breeze lulls you to sleep whether you want it to or not, and in what seems like a dream you fall through a tunnel that passes through layers of dirt and roots and then through seemingly endless boughs of trees.

During this impossibly long fall, spirits whisper in your ears. They tell you that you must save the Wilderlands and the Green. They tell you that you will be given the power or weapons to do it - or that you're already strong enough as you are. They tell you that in the times you're not needed, you may find yourself trapped in your party's base, but that the mirrors will let you speak, and the mirrors will let you see.

And they tell you that you're about to become lost in the forest and that there are others like you, just as lost.

You fall into a deep enchanted sleep. When you wake up, you find yourself alone in a vast forest, larger than any you've ever seen. Some unknown force draws you in a certain direction. Eventually you find the others that came before you, and find yourself magically bound to the group.

Then it's time to hit the road, which is a dangerous business. If you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off to.
