NPC SYSTEM/LIST

This post is where players can request to npc a characer on a semi-permanent basis that they feel they couldn't sustain normally due to AC demands or the nature of the main party but would like to use for plots. These characters can enter the game two ways: characters from fantasy canons can be drawn in when chunks of their canon homeworld are pulled into the game, and non-fantasy characters can enter the game work the same way as the PCs, where they're drawn in by magic.

Unlike the PCs, NPCs don't have to fit any of the power rules. However, just like apps, the mods have to approve the npc and their powers.

For villain npcs, keep in mind that ICA = ICC and that this game is one where villains will be used more as antagonists for plots than played as characters in their own right. Under some circumstances, it may not be possible for the villain to be protected from the consequences of their actions.

Powers: Magic - Archivist / Freebie Power - While he's lost his super-speed, he's still faster than most humans; capable of easily keeping pace with the likes of elves (although he's not quite as light on his feet as they are).
What you plan to do with this character: When the gang gets captured and taken to Rome, those who get sent to the colosseum or who end up watching the fights, might start to hear rumors about one of the combatants. A wild thing, found out in the woods during a storm. Thought to possibly be a descendent of the god Jupiter or Mercury, or one of the new fay creatures that have been appearing around their borders. So strange in nature, the lions refuse to eat him. Having won every match despite refusing to use a weapon, flitting around the arena at "inhuman" speeds (which have been exaggerated).

What they don't talk about is how Bart's yet to kill anyone, putting on enough of a show to get away with it. But by the time the others get there he's getting by on the skin of his teeth. Still capable of putting on a show but prone to passing out from exhaustion after fights as they try to starve him out. After managing to cause a ruckus when he was first captured and keeping the lions from eating him, Bart has the people in charge a little bit unnerved by him. And while he's entertaining they're hoping he'll eventually lose.

When the rest of the gang gets there he'll be helping them get free, and possibly get thrown into matches with a few of them. If I feel like I can handle playing him long-term the group will find out he's marked and I'll submit a full app for him. If I can't he'll leave at the end of the Rome plot.
